«My husband and I went to Donostia while we were staying in La Macarena on vacation. Tomas Rueda’s reputation lives up to the hype. The food was incredible. My husband and I consider ourselves amateur foodies and are always looking for good restaurants when we travel. Donostia ranks for us as one of the best meals we have ever had. We had lamb meatballs, langostines, and lamb osso busco. I will be dreaming of this food and can only hope that Tomas will open a restaurant closer to our home so we can enjoy his food more often. If you are ever in Bogotá, don’t skip a Tomas Rueda restaurant. It is worth it!»


«A small restaurant in a very vibey neighborhood. The menu offers s great selection with some vegetarian options. The servers were very patient and helpful in explaining the menu to us as it was all in Spanish.
The food was wonderful! They specialize in farm to table and every dish was amazing.
Highly recommend the Osobucco and risotto served in a pumpkin.
Wine was pricey but expected.

«We were lucky enough to have our order placed with chef Tomas Rueda. I told him I was a vegetarian, and he said I came to the right place. I had a beautiful beet purée with quinoa, sour cream and avocado. My boyfriend and I shared the house salad: a bed of sweet Potato mash with white beans, topped with lettuce and hearts of palm and a gorgeous, enormous, unsliced half of avocado. My boyfriend had a wonderful piece of local fish. The experience was excellent. Look forward to trying Their sister restaurant Tabula, next time I’m in Bogota.»


«We stopped here for lunch before our walking tour. Our sons ordered starters and we split a couple of entrees. The starters were terrific. One dish they did not have, and the chef came out to recommend another, which we ordered. It too was terrific. The entrees were also very good. Overall, some of the best food we had in Bogota.
The service was exceptional. The staff was so friendly and helpful, as we had some difficulty communicating in Spanish and English. And it was a great treat to talk to the chef as best we could. We really enjoyed the whole experience.»
